Air Cairo is seeking skilled and motivated Flight Dispatchers to join our Operations team in Cairo. As a Flight Dispatcher at Air Cairo, you’ll play a critical role in flight planning, operational control, and ensuring every flight operates safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our operations and flight crew teams, coordinating schedules, analyzing aircraft performance, and monitoring weather conditions to support seamless flight operations. This role requires precision, quick decision-making, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
What You'll Do Daily?
- Plan and monitor flights, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations and flight crew teams for seamless scheduling.
- Analyze aircraft performance and monitor weather conditions.
- Provide timely operational decisions under pressure.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all flights.
- Support the team in resolving in-flight or pre-flight operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with ECAR121 regulations and company procedures.
What We're Looking For?
- Strong aviation background with solid experience in aircraft dispatching under ECAR121 regulations.
- Valid Egyptian Civil Aviation license with the appropriate type rating.
- 4–5 years of professional Flight Dispatcher experience.
- Proficiency across all operational control competencies.
- Very good command of English (ECAA recommended level).
- Previous airline operations and flight-following experience (air-taxi experience not applicable).
- Understanding of aviation weather, flight planning, and aircraft performance.
- A university degree or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency with standard computer systems and aviation software.
