The U.S. Mission in Kuwait is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions of Guard (Stand-by) in the Regional Security Office
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
The incumbent safeguards the U.S. Embassy Kuwait, official residences and other U.S. Government (USG) facilities. Reports to the Local Guard Force Assistant Shift Supervisor or the Local Guard Force Shift Supervisor.
Perform access control procedures, conduct vehicle and personnel searches, maintain and operate communication equipment at the U. S. Embassy.

Reacts to emergency situations and security incidents as issued in Post's guard orders.
Job Requirements
Open to the public
Completion of High School education is required
One year of verifiable work experience in any field
English Level II (speaking/reading/writing) is required. Arabic Level I (speaking) is required. Language skills will be tested.
Must develop a thorough knowledge of Post's security procedures and techniques.
Must be reliable in attendance and performance.
Must be able to follow instructions and communicate with all personnel and visitors of the U.S. Embassy.
Must be in good physical condition.
